Roy Keane joins Sky Sports

UDDxM2GZ

Former Man United midfielder Roy Keane has joined Sky Sports’ team of pundits.

Keane – a seven-times Premier League winner – has occasionally appeared on Sky, BT and ITV in the past but has now decided to commit to Sky.

“I’ve worked with Sky Sports quite a few times over the years and it’s always been an experience I’ve enjoyed, so this makes absolute sense,” said Keane.

“While I’m not coaching I still want to be involved in the game and in some ways, this is the next best thing.

“It’s a game of opinions, I’ve never shied away from giving mine and that’s only going to continue this season. Sky Sports has always been famous for the heated debates – I look forward to starting a few more.”

Keane will make his full Sky debut on Super Sunday with West Ham taking on Man United and Chelsea playing Liverpool.

He joins an impressive team of big names which also include Jose Mourinho, Gary Neville, Graeme Souness, Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp.
