Top-flight live football on TV returns on Saturday with the re-start of the Bundesliga – with BT Sport screening all nine matches live.
Germany’s top division has been suspended due to the coronavirus situation for 67 days.
It will resume behind-closed-doors with no neutral venues and fixtures remaining in their original home settings.
Five games kick-off at 2.30pm on Saturday with other games at 5.30pm on Saturday, 2.30pm and 5pm on Sunday and 7.30pm on the Monday night.
As well as showing all games across its main channels and BT Sport Extra service (available online, on the BT app or red button), BT will also offer a goals show on the Saturday afternoon switching between the five matches as the key action happens.
With no live meaningful sport on TV since the lockdown, BT will be hoping for record-breaking figures for the Bundesliga. BT’s coverage doesn’t usually have any studio build-up or presentation, but with heightened interest it’s likely the broadcaster will draft in Premier League anchor Jake Humphrey and other familiar BT pundits particularly for the first weekend of the restart.
