CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES LIVE ON SKY THIS WEEKEND – INCLUDING MOST SATURDAY 3PM KICKS-OFFS ON SKY RED BUTTON

Ten of the 12 Championship matches will be available to watch on Sky Sports this weekend (December 16 to 19) – with six Saturday 3pm games on the red button.
With the World Cup still in action (the third-place play-off game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday), the usual blackout rule preventing live games being shown in the UK at 3 on a Saturday isn’t in force.
Sky have picked four matches for their usual full multi-camera coverage and replays coverage with those main matches being screened at 8pm on Friday and Monday, Saturday 5.30pm and Sunday 11.30am.
As usual Sky’s red button matches (which are also available on the Sky Sports app) are expected to have just single camera coverage with no replays, build-up and after-match analysis either.
Goals will be shown as they go in on Sky Sports News’ Soccer Saturday show as well.
The 3pm games have been shown with the agreement of the clubs involved, but it appears for Coventry v Swansea and Hull v Sunderland some of the clubs have decided not to give permission and are not available on the Sky red button. They will be available on the clubs’ own streaming service.
