WHAT CHANNEL IS THE CARABAO CUP FINAL ON?

When is the Carabao Cup Final?

It’s on Sunday March 16 at Wembley Stadium with a 4.30pm kick-off.

What channel is the Carabao Cup Final on and is it being streamed anywhere?

It’s on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event and also FREE-TO-AIR on ITV 1. Coverage starts on both channels at 3.30pm. It’s also streaming on Sky through Sky Go and NOW TV and through ITVX.

But I thought it was only on Sky?

Sky Sports holds the rights to all the EFL competitions, but it struck a deal with ITV which sees them show nine Carabao Cup games a season and ten games a season from the EFL. These are game which are shown on Sky in any case.

Although ITV will have its own presenters, pundits, reporters, commentators and on-screen graphics, the actual match coverage will use Sky’s pictures.

Sky shows more than 1,000 games a season from the EFL competitions.

Are there any Carabao Cup Final highlights on?

Yes, ITV 4 have a highlights show at 10.20pm.

However, the BBC has struck an agreement with TNT to show 14 matches each season – two games from each round through to the quarter-finals as well as showing one semi-final and the final. The BBC games will also be on TNT. The final has to be made free-to-air under UK broadcast legislation as one of sport’s “protected” events.
