Everton v Liverpool to be shown free-to-air as Premier League re-start TV details revealed

All 92 outstanding Premier League fixtures will be shown live on TV – including four on the BBC and a number of free-to-air Sky games including the Merseyside derby.

The Premier League has confirmed, subject to safety clearances, the competition will return on Wednesday June 17.

Sky Sports will show the bulk of the matches, screening 64. Of those 39 will be for subscribers only while 25 will also be made available free-to-air on Sky’s Pick TV channel which is available on Freeview. Sky has confirmed Everton v Liverpool on the first full weekend of games will be simulcast for free on Pick TV.

For the first time in Premier League history, four matches will be screened live free-to-air on the BBC. The first game for the corporation is expected to be Bournemouth v Crystal Palace with an 8pm Saturday kick-off on the first full weekend of matches.

The remaining 24 will be screened across BT Sport and Amazon Prime. Amazon have confirmed their four games will be available free without a subscription while BT have so far declined to make any of their games free-to-air.

The first matches set to be shown will be Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Man City v Arsenal which had been postponed due to the Carabao Cup Final. They’ll be on Wednesday, June 17 with 6pm and 8pm kick-off times and broadcasters to be confirmed, although it’s expected both will be on Sky.
