The new season of the FA Cup gets underway on Tuesday September 1 – with the BBC again showing matches from the extra preliminary round stage.
The BBC will screen Maine Road FC v Squires Gate across the BBC Sport online site, the iPlayer and the BBC red button on Tuesday from 7.45pm.
20 new teams are in the FA Cup this season with the BBC showing one game per round from the competitions preliminary qualifying stages.
Full TV coverage kicks in from the first round proper from when the BBC will screen up to 16 live games and BT Sport up to 24 live matches. They include the final on both channels and one semi-final each.
This season is the last of the joint BBC-BT FA Cup deal with ITV taking over the BT Sport side of the deal from the 2021-22 season which means all FA Cup TV games will be free-to-air from then.
