FIVE THINGS YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED FROM SKY’S WHERE’S GARY? VIDEO

Sky Sports were quick off the mark as Liverpool clinched the title for the first time in 30 years – within minutes they had released a video with some of their biggest names asking “Where’s Gary?”. The hilarious video has proved a viral hit, but FOOTIE ON TV has looked a bit closer and found some incredible attention to detail from the Sky team which you might have missed.
THE MISSING POSTER

“Have you seen this man?” screams as specially made missing poster clutched by Sky reporter Patrick Davison. It urges anyone with information to ‘contact Carra’!
DAVID JONES NIGHT OUT PHOTO

As angry Sky pundit Graeme Souness confronts host David Jones as to Neville’s whereabouts, Jones is seen clutching a photo.
The mocked-up image appears to show Jones with Neville and brother Phil alongside David Beckham apparently on an evening out in Paris!
Jones declares: “I can’t even remember this night.”
GREAT ACTING & ONE-LINERS

You can’t help being impressed with the Sky team’s new-found acting skills. Kelly Cates, leather gloves on and finger in ear like a special agent, looks like she could easily look at home in a big detective drama!
And John Barnes seemed to relish his role, menacing into the camera: “I’ve got a particular set of skills, I will find you and I will make fun of you.”

David Jones and Graeme Souness, who have had the odd on-air dust-up in the past, were also very convincing.
As Souness demands answers from Jones over Neville’s whereabouts, Jones protests his innocence saying: “I work with the guy – he’s not my friend!”
Souness snarls: “Don’t tell me lies!”
There are other notable performances from reporter Geoff Shreeves, Jamie Redknapp and, of course, Jamie Carragher relishes his role running around screaming “Where’s Gary”! and declaring: “Neville, I’ll find you.”

THE BOARDING PASS

Yes, Sky even mocked up a boarding pass! In scenes filmed at Manchester Airport, Neville is seen handing his ticket to a steward. The destination is Papua New Guinea where Gary once joked he might have to go live if Liverpool won the title.
The date of departure shown on the ticket reads “As Soon As”
