How to pause your Sky Sports subscription – and you’ll still get the channels.
Sky is effectively making its sports channels free during the coronavirus crisis – but you have to take action to make sure you receive the discount.
Due to a lack of live on-field action, Sky is letting customers pause their sports subscriptions.
The broadcaster says you will still receive the channels which are currently showing a mix of archive, documentaries and live debate and news shows. Recordings you’ve made will also remain on your box.
The easiest way to pause your Sky Sports subscription is to go the My Sky area of their website, log on, pick the Manage Your Package section, click on the Sky Sports area where you’ll see the Pause option. That will take your through to another screen where a Pause now button will confirm that’s what you want to do.
Sky say once live action returns your subscription will automatically be renewed.
Meanwhile BT Sport is giving you the choice of a month’s credit applied to your account – or you can let BT donate it to NHS charities HERE
